CLS designs projects all over Victoria, initial consultations can be held remotely and the design will be developed at our Mordialloc office, onsite consultations may be subject to a fee based on the projects location. If on site meetings are required during the design process, they will be accounted for within the design fee proposal or charged to the client at our base design hourly rate with a minimum call out fee.
My Property has not been built yet, when should I have my landscape design done?
If you are in the process of building a home, CLS recommends doing the landscape design in conjunction with your home architect/designer so that considerations can be made with the internal and external aspects.
How long does a design take?
No one design project is the same, however for most standard projects we recommend allowing 6-8 weeks from start to finish. This can change based on the design teams workload, if council feedback is required or any holiday periods such as public holidays or end of year break.
Do I need drawings from any specialists such as engineers or draftsmen?
Some items may need engineering for permits or council approval. These can either be incorporated into the design phase or covered within the construction contract. CLS handles all communications between Engineers, Draftsmen & Council in house.
