• Somers Project

The Somers Project, located on the Mornington Peninsula, blends coastal character with a modern Mediterranean style. The front garden features an entry avenue of transplanted mature Flinders grown Olive trees, flanking large natural stone steppers. A combination of layered stone textures, soft native shrubs and hardy coastal species complete the overall garden design.

Tight access to the property resulted in all materials being manually passed into the yard. This project has a phenomenal amount of detail packed into such a small space, lots of materials had to be pre-fabricated in the CLS factory, then transported to site for install due to space restraints.

  • Elwood Project

Whether you’re soaking up the sunshine by the pool or enjoying the surrounding greenery on the large grassy areas, this space has something for the whole family. • Emerald Project

From the rock waterfalls to the native plants, this garden exudes natural charm. This inviting bushland-style garden is a treat for the senses, from the alluring native plants to the weathered timber steppers and cascading rock waterfalls. This is a garden with a great natural flow, which is most evident in the meandering “river” which links two impressive waterfalls. To create the waterfalls, the granite rock was hand picked to get them into precisely the right position. A series of railway sleeper steps that wind their way down the hill, culminating in a sleeper boardwalk that crosses the river and delivers guests to the verandah.

The plants are all hardy natives, chosen to suit the various microclimates within the garden and create a true bushland feel. There are grass trees, used as feature plants, and kangaroo paws for a flourish of floral colour. You will also find a range of compact or low-growing plants including Acacia cognata ‘Dazzler’, Banksia ‘Birthday Candles’, lomandra, correa, dianella, blue fescue and native daisies. In one section of the garden, ferns rule the day: Blechnum ‘Silver Lady’ (a dwarf tree fern), Dicksonia antartica (a popular tree fern), and Asplenium nidus (bird’s nest fern).

  • Hawthorn Project

Bringing the outside in is this beautiful contemporary home located in Hawthorn. The larger window panes showcase stunning views of the garden at all angles. Each walkway lit up with greenery, hedging and outdoor lighting, bringing the smallest of spaces to life. The Pistacia Chinensis tree creates a stunning feature of colour in the centred of the courtyard. A prominent feature viewed at multiple angles from both upstairs and downstairs view points. This renovated landscape incorporates the new with the old, creating unity between spaces through the design.

  • Donvale Project

This unique landscape design combines the aesthetics of the building exterior to create a seamless journey into the outdoor space. With the monochromatic tones and natural stone work seen throughout the design. The floating steps take you through the garden, working with the natural slope of the property. While there was a high clay content and large excavation required, the results achieved the desired depth for concrete piers and blind path. The large rock formation not only displays as a prominent feature, but were strategically placed to assist with heights.
